Mango Shake

    Mango shake is a very popular drink in India. It is mostly available during summer months when it is the season for
    mangoes. It is a very refreshing cool drink and is ideal served with hot dishes as it helps the body to digest spicy food.

    Serves 6:
    Preparation time: 10 minutes


    Ingredients:
  • Mango pulp – 200 gm
  • Milk – 250 ml
  • Cream – 100 ml
  • Sugar – 6 teaspoon
  • Ice cubes – 4 (optional)


    Method:
  • Add mango pulp, milk, cream and sugar in a blender and blend until frothy and smooth. (You can use fresh mango
    instead of pulp. However, you might need to sieve when using fresh mango as it often contains fibres.)

  • Add crushed ice if desired and blend again.

  • Serve chilled.


    Variation:
    You can substitute the mango/mango pulp with any other fresh seasonal fruits like strawberry, banana, peach, apricot,
    raspberries or any other fruit of your choice.


    Tips:
    Mango Shake can be made and kept for 2-3 days in the refrigerator! Simply add crushed ice before drinking to make it
    chilled!
